Let's Get Drunk! @LKF Beer Fest

The annual Lan Kwai Fong Beer & Music Fest is coming again! Today and tomorrow, the festival is held in LKF and offers an array of beers and street booths with international food. The big carnival also features music performances from great bands.

So, cheers and have a nice weekend!!!!!!

1:3 Gundam Lands HK!! @Times Square HK

In the past, shopping malls in Hong Kong didn't have much promotion or special events.
From the Doraemon installations at Harbour City to Times Square's Monster University characters, we started getting used to the surprises from them, and still, we are always stunned. :D

So following the Monster University promotion, Times Square will launch the "Gundam Docks at Hong Kong" exhibition. 1:3 Gundam RX78-2 and Zaku display will be in town, from July 26 to September 1.

You know what, the 1:1 Gundam in Daiba Tokyo is about 8m tall, and this time, the Gundam and Zaku will be 6m tall. I would say, Gundam is part of our childhood memory!

Outside of Times Square, there will be music and light performances to go with the future-world war.

There will also be a lot of Zakus on 1/F too!

July 1 - You know what it means?

I found many people quite interested in Hong Kong's political development, as I have been asked by friends at hostels like how Hong Kong people look at Chinese people, and if Hong Kong people have real freedom.

I was rather surprised yet glad that others are eager to know more about Hong Kong; more importantly, it would be great if travelers in Hong Kong can spend a little more time on knowing more about the history as well as social development in Hong Kong -- for me, every time I travel, I enjoy doing research on the city's background.

July 1, the establishment day of the HKSAR government, has become an annual day for protest, the best way to express Hong Kong people's demand and anger to the government and the social issues -- yes, sad but true.

July 1, a very meaningful day for Hong Kong, and Hong Kong people.

Sometimes, a city good for travel doesn't mean it is good for living -- I'm just saying.
